How to Make 3-Ingredient Protein Ice Cream
Watch the video
During these tough peak-summer days, when it's hot and sticky outside, I love pre-freezing bananas and using them for all sorts of cool things.
Like this quick protein ice cream made from just 3 ingredients.
Where does the protein come from, you ask?
Simple.
I just added vegan protein powder, and that's it.
No fuss.
It's a great solution for those days when I don't feel like drinking my protein shake or eating a protein bar.
The main advantage of this ice cream is how incredibly quick and easy it is to make.

A bit about 3-Ingredient Protein Ice Cream
1: The base of the ice cream is frozen bananas.
All you need to do is take several very ripe bananas, peel them, put them in a container, and into the freezer.
I always have 2-3 such frozen containers in the freezer.
2: For this recipe, you can also add frozen strawberries, raspberries, mango, or pineapple to the bananas for extra flavor. Go wild! It turns out amazing (I added chocolate chips, by the way).
3: To make it creamy and extra indulgent, I added a little (!) high-fat coconut cream. You can swap it for the same amount of cashew cream. If you really don't want to, feel free to skip it.
