Protein Ice Cream With Just 3 Ingredients
Watch the video
When we're deep in those brutal summer days and it's hot and gross outside, I like having bananas stashed in the freezer, ready for all kinds of cool treats.
Like quick protein ice cream made with just 3 ingredients.
Where does the protein come from, you ask?
Yep. You guessed it.
I just added vegan protein powder. That's it.
No fancy tricks.
It's a nice option on days when I don't feel like drinking another protein shake or eating another protein bar.
The best thing about this ice cream? How easy and quick it is to make.

A Few Tips for 3-Ingredient Protein Ice Cream
1: Frozen bananas are the base.
All you need to do is peel a few very ripe bananas, put them in a container, and pop them in the freezer.
I always have 2–3 containers of frozen bananas on hand.
2: For extra flavor, you can add frozen strawberries, raspberries, mango, or pineapple along with the bananas. Go wild. Trust me, the results are fantastic. (I added chocolate chips, by the way.)
3: For creaminess and a little extra indulgence, I added a small amount (!) of high-fat coconut cream. You can swap in the same amount of cashew cream. Really don't want either? Leave it out.
