Chia Tiramisu That's Light, Creamy, and Seriously Good
I filmed this recipe with Orit Arnon (an Israeli photographer), who started out as a client and has become a really good friend!
Orit is in my nutrition coaching program, and I think we became such good friends because we have so much in common.
For starters, we're both from Herzliya (a city on Israel's Mediterranean coast). Okay, fine, I live in Tel Aviv (Israel's coastal city) now. But I grew up there!
Orit is just as crazy about sports and vegan fitness nutrition as I am, so we clicked pretty much immediately.
She's also a seriously talented photographer. You really need to go follow her on Instagram
So at our regular check-in, we also filmed this fun, easy chia tiramisu recipe together. It's light, delicious, and didn't last long once we put our spoons in.

A Few Things About Chia Tiramisu
The base of this recipe is, obviously, chia seeds. So if you call to ask what you can substitute for the chia, I'm hanging up on you.
For that signature tiramisu flavor, I used very strong cold coffee—homemade cold brew, in my case. You can use strong instant coffee, espresso, or drip coffee, cooled down.
Or use any other cold coffee you like.
Sorry, friends, but tiramisu needs cocoa and coffee. Take one away and you lose that tiramisu flavor. So yes, the cocoa needs to stay, too.
I used hazelnut-flavored almond yogurt from Tnuva (a major Israeli dairy and soy brand) – the nutty flavor is perfect here, but any other plant-based yogurt will work.
